christmas is my favorite holiday! you can find me listening to christmas music, sipping glögg, and turning our decor into a winter wonderland as soon as halloween is over. and with the twins’ first christmas this year, it was more special than ever before. we have a lot of christmas traditions between both of our families and since we are in raleigh this year we got to celebrate a lot of them. while we had a wonderful christmas, i’m excited to pass down and create our own traditions with breck + thatcher in the upcoming years. i know it sounds so cheesy, but when i went to bed on christmas eve i peeked in on the twins, looked at adam, and thought to myself, who needs presents. the truth is, this little family of mine is really all i need. hope you all had a wonderful holiday! here’s a few highlights from our first christmas as a family of 5!
^^ one of my favorite traditions is my family’s annual cookie decorating. my mom makes her homemade frosting and we all compete to see who can decorate the best cookie.
^^ another one of my favorite family traditions…glögg! it’s a swedish recipe that’s been passed down by my grandparents.
^^ 4 generations in this picture! it just makes my heart swell to see the twins with their GREAT-grandparents!
^^ this right here. my crazy, goofy, loving family. it’s so clear how much these babies are loved. and oh boy are they are so lucky to have such a wonderful, caring family.
