woohoo! I can’t believe we’ve made it to 30 weeks! honestly, i think we’re all a little shocked that i’ve made it this far {especially me}. it feels so good yet at the same time, so scary. i’m trying not to get too greedy, but as each week goes by i get more hopeful that we’ll make it to the next week. i know that the babies could come at any time, but how great would it be if we could get to our original goal of 32 weeks?! tomorrow we’ll have another growth scan and this will tell us a lot about how the babies are doing and potentially how they’ll do once they are born. we’re hoping they both weigh at least 1500 grams, as these babies tend to do a lot better in the nicu. we’ve also finally picked a pediatrician and at our doctor’s urging we are considering meeting with the nicu team. we still haven’t done anything with the nursery though, because although we thought we were going to be moving to our new house last week, we haven’t – long story and talking about it really just stresses me out. speaking of stress, last week we had a lot – waiting on these babies, the house, and a few other things that i don’t even want to bring up, made it a difficult week. but fortunately we had my dad here for the weekend. and even though i’m 29, sometimes i just need my parents. so, thank you dad! for your love and support, and for keeping adam + i sane as we were dealing with everything! and speaking of love and support – thanks again to all of you! i really think you guys are what’s gotten me this far. and even though i said i don’t want to get too greedy, do you mind keeping it up? maybe we can actually get these babies to cook a couple of more weeks. love to you all! keep eating those donuts!!
