happy friday! i hope everyone had a great week and enjoyed their halloween! adam and i kept it pretty low-key and just went out to dinner. we had already celebrated the holiday last weekend by heading to the pumpkin patch with some friends. we had such a great time and it was so fun to see all of the little kids running around. it brought back such wonderful memories of when my parents would take us to our local pumpkin patch every year! goebbert’s was a little more “upscale” than the pumpkin patches i remember going to. they had all kinds of activities and their “petting zoo” consisted of not only your typical farm animals, but even zoo animals like a giraffe and kangaroos! there was a maze, a train ride, a hay ride, singing chickens, a pumpkin eating dinosaur, a catapult, a giant trampoline, and a lot more! it really was a lot of fun and i’m so glad we were able to go!
^^ there is only one way to start a trip to the pumpkin patch : with apple cider donuts! and these did not disappoint…adam + i have been contemplating going back just to get another batch!
^^ it takes a very secure man to wear a floral print diaper bag while pushing a stroller.
^^ i think these “singing chickens” were kate’s favorite part of the pumpkin patch! also, as you can tell the adults were pretty captivated by them too.
so, as we would say in the south : happy fall y’all! hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
