pie6happy hump day friends! sorry for the lack of communication, but it’s been a very busy week/weekend and since we are preparing to head back to chicago/raleigh this friday it’s getting even busier! our time hasn’t been all consumed with laundry, packing, cleaning, and other boring stuff though – we’ve been running around having lots of fun in between trying to get things done! and one of my favorite things that we did last week was visit this awesome pie shop called wanda’s pie in the sky! we had friends in town and they had actually suggested we all try this place and oh man am i so glad we did {well, my stomach’s glad, but my thighs are going to hate me}. if you’re in toronto i highly recommend checking out kensington market and heading over to wanda’s pie in the sky – i only tried 2 pies and the macaroni and cheese, but it was all so yummy!

pie2pie3^^ i didn’t try this one, but my friend, maggie, and her lovely husband and daughter, said it was great!

pie^^ honest moment :: these 2 were in rare form that afternoon. neither of them would eat anything and both had major meltdowns. thatcher was only happy if i was letting her run around and breck blew out his diaper {which meant changing him in the middle of the market}. doesn’t it always seem that kids only have awful moments when they’re in front of other people?!

pie4pie5pie1^^ this face! i’m not sure when i caught this because honestly smiles weren’t happening that afternoon. but, those eyes, cheeks, and lips sure do make up for it!

pie8pie9thanks for hanging with us, maggie, jon, and naomi! we hope you’ll come back and visit again soon!

pie7^^ ps. i got this coconut bagel from nu bügel and it was delicious! i was a little apprehensive at first {even though i love coconut}, but it didn’t disappoint!
