i hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! we sure did! my brother and sister were both here with us and we hosted a few good friends. adam and i were so excited to have people to share it with since in the past it’s usually just been the two of us. our day started out pretty much how everyone’s does – watching the macy’s thanksgiving day parade!
it then quickly progressed to making food, setting the table, breaking open the wine, and watching football! my favorite part of thanksgiving is hanging out with those you care about, eating and drinking while cooking and enjoying each other’s company. there’s something about the holidays that bring out the best in everyone. i don’t think any other time of the year there is as much smiling and laughter as there is during this season. and it warms my heart! so as i hope all of you did, we ate great food, laughed way too much, and enjoyed the day!
^^ just in case you guys didn’t think i did anything except take pictures 😉
^^ that man of mine. so thankful for him.
^^ and super thankful for these helping hands.
^^ but this is what i’m thankful for the most.
i hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! did you guys participate in black friday? i’m doing all of my shopping online this year since we’ll be heading to raleigh for the holidays!
