kevin was here to do some apartment hunting. yep, that’s right, my baby brother is moving to chicago! {yay!!!!} even though it’s not a permanent move {he’s just here for an internship}, i’m still going to get 6-7 months with him. it’s been 10 years since kevin and i lived in the same house together {or even in the same city}. i feel so lucky to get this time with him now.

saturday night, we got dressed up, gathered our wine + beer, and tried to hail a cab over to our favorite mexican restaurant, mixteco. {thanks for driving us, kevin!} we had a great time catching up with our friends, kyle + jessica.

the food at m.henry was delicious and i’m sure we’ll be back soon! and since we were so stuffed from brunch we decided to eat leftovers for dinner.

Hi Tess ~ That is so great that Kevin is around…has he graduated yet, or is this part of the whole move towards graduation? Like a year abroad, only he goes “abroad” to Chicago! You guys are going to make your Mom and Dad want to follow you to the Windy City, especially with all your food reviews!
Love to the three of you~

pam, he’s here for the summer and fall semester doing a co-op {similar to an internship}. he’ll still study abroad in germany as well. graduation is still a couple of years away. i’m excited to have him here {even if is just temporary}!
